Among the services available to Insurance Adjusters:

• Valuation for insurance scheduling or casualty loss.
• We offer "Oriental Rugs: Answers for Insurers & Adjusters", a three-hour continuing education course registered with the Texas Department of Insurance. This course is designed to increase the professional's competence in insuring and handling losses involving oriental rugs. This course is available by appointment.
• Review of appraisal documents associated with claims.
• Outline strategies for minimizing loss with the effective use conservation, restoration, and repair.
• Provide instruction on the proper methods for documenting loss.
• Inspect subject property to identify value attributes, and specifically address questions regarding condition, and latent or hidden defect.
• Identify each rug as to country of origin, construction, age and materials.
• Provide authentication for rugs with documentation from trade literature.
• Provide laboratory and structural analysis for special assignments.
• Submit an independent and certified valuation based on the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and the Code of Ethics of the American Society of Appraisers.
